Re: Can I go for EEA Fast Track Process?

There is no EEA fast track or premium service.

However if you are an EEA national you can potentially apply online and it will be quicker than paper applications

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Congrats! Mines coming close to 7 months now. I just called them again and they said wait another 5 working days

They refuse to pass on the information that it is a legal requirement to make a decision for a non eu national with 6 months

Re: Late PR

You arent alone mate, I also applied in October The home office is just flooded with applications. If they only they notified people they are running late instead of radio silence it would be far more reassuring I wrote to my MEP (My MP hasn't replied given the dissolvement of parliament due to the ...

Re: Permanent Residence Card - Processing Time 2017

Hi All, I've checked this forum a couple of times as I was getting desperate so I thought to share with you all my timeline. Wish you luck and be patient, if you've provided the HO with all the necessary information and supporting documents you'll eventually get it. This is for the November batch. ...

Re: Permanent Residence Card Processing Time 2016

Same here, got the same email And I called them like 3 times, the second time they said I have to wait 5 working days before I should contact them again The wait is a pain and the feeling of powerlessness is frustrating. My MP has not replied yet since she is probably far too busy with the election....

Re: Permanent Residence Card Processing Time 2016

My application was successful and I will get my PR in 10 working days. The only issue with the letter is that it said "residence card" but when I called the helpline they cleared it up and said it is just a generic letter and I will receive PR. The only thing that kept me awake at night during the ...

Re: Permanent Residence Card Processing Time 2016

Same as most people, no CSI while my wife was a student

so we reapplied when she has had 5 years working evidence

But to be honest with the election happening, I am very doubtful that my MP will even look at my issue

Re: EEA4 refused. Appeal and Reconsideration letter sent

Understood, we will still go ahead with the appeal

Under these circumstances what do you think we should do, reapply with the documents when they arrive while the appeal is ongoing?

Because I believe with the appeal you can submit new documents

Re: EEA4 refused. Appeal and Reconsideration letter sent

Ok when they arrive I will be sure to send them as proof to support the consideration

But my original question remains, what are the average timelines people had for reconsideration?

Are we talking weeks or months?

Re: EEA4 refused. Appeal and Reconsideration letter sent

It is not a simple misunderstanding. You simply did not meet the requirements, as the necessary documentations were not provided, in any event it is questionable whether employment prior to April 2011, will be acceptable in circumstances where there was no WRS certificate. But there was a WRS certi...

Re: EEA4 refused. Appeal and Reconsideration letter sent

Strange we do not recall a need for health insurance prior to that. We sent the reconsideration letter, but when the proof of employment is received by us (in 2 weeks according to tax and revenue) we will forward copies over to the case worker and the appeal What worries me is this evidence was not ...

Re: EEA4 refused. Appeal and Reconsideration letter sent

No she did not have a health card as it wasn't needed at the time. She was registered with the WRS scheme, as she was actually working as a student. Even during those months in question but we don't have pay slips dating back till then and we assumed as a student it wasn't important. We have request...

Re: EEA4 refused. Appeal and Reconsideration letter sent

Thanks for your reply Obie Yes she had a WRS scheme registration certificate from 2010 I was under the impression that prior to June 2011 we do not need to prove CSI as a student https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/84915/response/212189/attach/html/3/Notice%2007%2011%20Comprehensive%20sickness%20...

EEA4 refused. Appeal and Reconsideration letter sent

Hi Folks, I applied for EEA 4 on November 15th 2015, yesterday I received a refusal based on my wife not being employed prior to August 2011. See the refusal wording below “The period covered by your wife’s employment is from 5th August 2011 to 30th of October 2015. This evidence covers 4 years and ...

Actually I believe if you were a student prior to June 2011 you do not require CSI Annex B – Comprehensive sickness insurance – Transitional arrangements for students Note: These arrangements apply only to EEA nationals applying for permanent residence documentation (or for exempt registration certi...
