Re: Trouble uploading documents irp renewal

What's the issue? If its some http related issue then they should fix it tomorrow so try again tomorrow morning.

If it's not authorized or another error, try chrome or firefox and with private browsing mode enabled.

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

It’s not scorecard approach. It asks for 6 months of bank statements in scorecard. Just provide the documents they ask for and it should be fine.

I applied in Nov 2021 with prescorecard documents and got approval already.

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Thankyou. This seems quick. The form was submitted on monday and its still not moved to completed by inisonline. The reason i was asking this question was because i don't think my photo will qualify for completion as dimensions are not the same. They may ask to resubmit the photo and i wasnt sure h...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

Did anyone sent them an email and ask recently? I sent them an email like 2 weeks ago but got no reply. Do you remember how many weeks you had to wait after 950 submission? I mean on the website once you submit a form it sits in forms submitted and than in a few weeks it moves to completed? Do you ...

They are sending in batches so it might take some more time. I didn't get mine either.

Seriously, when will we get them?
I read in a fb group that they will send it in 2 weeks and I believe it's a recent answer. So let's say around mid April

Re: Passport Card Travel

Does EU gates accept Irish passport card for entry/exit thou? All EU countries accept Irish passport cards. I guess your question is whether passport cards are accepted at eGates? No. Holders of national ID cards (passport cards included) cannot use the eGates in most if not all countries. Yes my q...

Re: Passport Card Travel

I always use my card on all trips to and from the EU/Schengen/UK, and I noticed that airline employees have become more familiar with it over time. They do occasionally ask me to show a passport, specifically Wizzair and Ryanair, and I reply that this is a passport since it has a word "passport" on...

Re: Citizenshep Application Pending 2020

Hi All, Just checking if there is anyone else as me who is waiting on since November 2020. I have applied in November 2020 and evetting was done in August 2022, since a complete silence. My solicitor has followed up couple of times but nothing happens. Anyone else waiting for that long? I am going ...

Re: 2022 Naturalisation Application response

For someone waiting for 23 months would most likely be be spending 600 -900 euro extra just to renew IRP cards just so his/her permission doesn't go out. All seems like a money making business. If someone has applied for citizenship they should automatically get a free renewal. Least that a departm...

Re: 2022 Naturalisation Application response

Well, it's not the first nor the last time any minister will not be honest and won't give straight answer to the questions like that. It was the same when Helen McEntee was the minister also. She said (back then) the process is being digitalized by offering online payments (duh) and online eVetting....

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023

The latest update post about citizenship ceremony on 19th and 20th June also says that the certificates will be sent by post afterwards.

To be honest, joining to citizenship ceremony with no cert was kind of pointless to me

Hi,

Could I ask something re this topic please if anyone knows etc.

Does the Department send the E-vetting request after the statutory requirements for residency have been okayed?

:)
On some occasions they request for more documents at the same time they send eVetting form with post.

Re: 2022 Naturalisation Application response

1. How do you know it doesn't mean they won't get approvals before 2021 and 2022 applicants? 2. If it is so easy and quick to send e-vetting to 2023 applicants, why don't they do it for 2021 and 2022 applicants? 1. Because if they exceed the average processing times mentioned in the acknowledgment ...

Re: 2022 Naturalisation Application response

They are supposed to process applications in chronological order. If they can send out e-vetting so quickly for 2023 applications, why can't they do the same for 2022 and 2021 applications. I smell a rat! It's disgraceful that people are waiting 12-18 months for e-vetting if they applied in 2021 an...

Re: Citizenship Applications From 2021 Pending Approval

Does anyone know what’s the purpose of signing the paper that has fidelity to nation when it was supposed to be repeated aloud in the ceremony today anyways. Because I don’t think, candidates attend to ceremonies (like the one that will happen in June) has to sign a fidelity to nation paper. Just to...
