It is stated in british nationality chapter 6 part 1 that the references must not be more than 6 months before the day homeoffice receives the application.

How old can be the referee reference date ? Can someone tell please ?
Can someone get reference 6 months before the actual application ? This is particularly possible if the person is relocating and does not know anyone in the new place ...

Copy of my previous passorts not acceptable.
But my current passport is there with me in Original. It is just the old passports that is not there with me

Grace period is 90 days. So if you are within 90 days then you can ignore that and consider the date of entry as the date of visa stamping for calculating the 5 year period. A registered marriage is a good idea and bringing her on spouse visa will be more helpful in future since travel visa does not entitle her for Medical benefits. Also on travel visa you cannot claim her continuous stay which you will need to show at some point when applying for her ILR.
