That means UKVI doesn't have your current address!!

No, the letter is sent only once and to the most recent address on their records.

Re: Tier 2 General to ILR - Sponsor won't extend

so lets say her current employer informs UKVI on 1st june 2016. then UKVI takes a decision to curtail leave and sends a letter on 20th Jun 2016. so as you guided she can stay in UK or search for an sponsor by 20th Aug 2016 (20th June +60 days) Yes. But I agree with CR001 that the decision to curtai...

Re: Tier 2 General to ILR - Sponsor won't extend

Your wife's sponsor cannot "cancel the visa" on 01-Jun-16. All the sponsor can do is inform UKVI that the sponsorship has been terminated w.e.f. 01-Jun-16. UKVI will then decide whether to curtail leave or not. Since the current leave is due to expire in 2017, the decision will be to curtail leave. ...

Re: Naturalization process

Now one can apply for naturalisation and passport together.

Though not sure but I believe this can only be done through NCS, not on your own. But I stand to be corrected on this.

Simply put, you need to go back after your 12 months are over and you may apply to return to UK without serving cooling-off period if you can find a job that pays £155,300 or more.

Re: Eng language requirements for naturalisation but w/ a tw

It is the (inefficient, untrained) caseworker who is at fault. There is no requirement for anyone who has applied for ILR on / after 28-Oct-2013 to provide any evidence of fulfilling KoLL requirement. The form AN itself asks the applicant to confirm that he/she fulfilled the said requirement to qual...

Why do you need a letter from an employer if you are applying under LR?

And, please keep your queries in a single topic.

Your leave will remain valid until it expires, unless it is curtailed. Make sure UKVI and your employer have your current address so that the curtailment lette reaches you whenever it is issued.

Re: certificate of sponsorship (Cos) and related issues

1. This has nothing to do with current CoS but current leave. Your current leave will remain valid until expiry date unless it is either curtailed or a new leave is issued under new sponsorship.
2. Not an immigration query.

1. Switch: PBS dependant to Tier 2 migrant
2. As above.
3. Switching to PBS dependent route or extending?
4. Yes, but your sponsor must notify UKVI that your sponsorship has been terminated.

Edit: I always get beaten by CR001! :D

Re: Few Doubts: Applying for Naturalisation (Form - AN)

It is not the same name! Your name is as shown in your identity document (the Indian passport): Name: ABC DEF Surname: Blank. You may think that your name is ABC and surname DEF, but this is not proved unless this is displayed so in your identity document. You may get away with it in AN application ...
