Re: ILR - Long Residence - Dependent Child

Children do not have a min residence requirement and can settle when both parents settle. You apply using SET(LR) and after your ILR is granted, you will apply for the child using form SET(F). The child can stay under the current visa until expiry without any issues, regardless of your status.

No. You do NOT need any other reasons to stay in the UK. If you answer YES to that question on the form, you get a request to submit documents which will confuse you

Re: Confusion around Set 0/M

Hi, (I was granted initially Tier 2 and Skilled worker visa and based on that i got my ILR) Question: I am cleared now on the form M which I will be using for my wife as she is dependant on me and not doing any job. I got my ILR by using the 28 days before date (Valid from) mentioned on the Vignett...

Re: ILR Eligibility

Thank you for the reply. I will take earliest start date 21st oct in this case. View and prove your immigration status: get a share code website shows 2nd BRP issue date as valid from date instead of earliest approval or 1st BRP issue date. Is it expected because I use latest BRP to login? That sho...

Re: ILR Eligibility

You need to take the earliest date. Visa approval date in most cases is the same as the date on your visa sticker or BRP issue date. However, for administrative reasons, the date of your document could be a later date as a visa or BRP document cannot be backdated. So if your visa was approved last w...

Re: ILR for a Depedent Medical Doctor

"Tier 1 or Global Talent dependants" is correct. Under the GTV rules for ILR, the visa route of a dependant is unimportant, so no switch is necessary for them at all. Her ILR eligibility is based on your previous status as a GTV holder and she will apply to get ILR via the same route. This is accord...

Thanks Zimba,

It's really helpful.

For example, new SOC code '2135’ (Cyber Security Professionals) shows a lower going rate as below
£35,100 (£18.00 per hour).
So, is it correct that my salary should be equal to or exceed this rate to meet the requirements?
Correct

Can you please explain more details? Like the Home office will not check my debts with the Universal Credit or the DWP?
There is nothing in the rules that says such a situation leads to refusal. Being incorrectly paid benefits is not your issue.

Re: ILR Application, SOC code, minimum Salary requirement

Just the new SOC salary threshold applies as that is the updated code for the exact role. SOC is just used to calculate the salary thresholds. The Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes assigned to each sponsorable role have been simply updated from the 2010 codes to the 2020 codes, so you...

Dear moderators,

For the ILR application, do we need to upload complete copy of passport including empty pages or its just need to scan & upload the non-empty pages?

Thanks in advance!
Raj.
Empty pages of passport are useless, just stamps in the last 5 years

It should not affect your ILR. ILR for refugees will take several weeks to months, so sit tight

This does not affect ILR as such an offence is not recordable. However, note that the rules allow the caseworker to still refuse an application if there applicant has a pattern of repeat offence

Re: ILR eligibility - just short of 5 year qualifying period

You do not seem to understand how the lawful residence calculations work or what section 3C actually is. The date of your biometrics is not relevant much

I covered all these here: How to apply early and benefit from the date of the ILR decision ?
