Urgent help needed -need send a large amount from IN to UK

Hello Everyone,
We are in process of buying a house. We need to bring money from our indian (residents) account to UK.

I checked with ICICI and SBI - both have cap on the amount you can bring in. Can anybody suggest how to bring money quickly to UK? Many thanks in advance

I did some research on it- indian nationals can transfer 125K dollors legally per financial year (which runs from march-april -I think).
But you will need to contact bank in india to check the details. - not many people in india know this. I got this information from govt india website.

Actually, there is no where written that sponsor needs accompany applicant. You know, I took my husband with me to PEO. But they dint ask anything from him. All they are interested in DOCUMENTS. combining FLR (M) and work permit dependent stay

I first to came to UK at work permit holder's dependent in dec 2006. After that, I had my own Tier 1 visa. Now I am applying for FLR(M). My question is -- am I illegible to apply for ILR after 2 years? My husband had also got ILR.

There is no where in the documents it says that my husband should attend with me. I am wondering even if he comes along with me whether he will be allowed to enter in PEO office (as the appointment is only in my name).

Hello everyone, My husband is applying for ILR ( via Tier 1 General route) next month. I have tier 1 visa but currently I am not working and want to become his dependent. Can I switch from Tier 1 to FLR(M) within UK? Do I need to become PBS dependent first then apply for FLR(M)?? PLease help. thanks.
