Re: Spouse visa refused, reapplying

My wife is Jamaican, I'm UK citizen, we applied for UK spouse entry visa but were refused for not supplying (a) my divorce decree absolute and (b) letter from employer confirming my salary. Of course I'm very annoyed we missed these, in fact we didn't read appendix FM-SE at all somehow. Took about ...

Re: Financial Requirements for Spousal Applications

Hello, I had one question about the finance requirements. I work two jobs one at Tesco and one at an Indian Restaurant. Obviously Tesco pay directly into the bank, but the Indian Restaurant do not, I have been hearing a new rule that ALL monies earned need to be visible in a bank account to the pen...

Re: Spouse Visa, letter from employer

If your gross wage is 1350 per month x 12= 16200......that's short of 18600 Remember its your gross wage that you state not Net pay for this letter. Your letter is confusing in my opinion. Also you put down gross wage for year, not for 4 weeks or monthly pay details in letter. This is what it says ...

Re: General visit visa refusal

I think applying for any type of visitors visa when one of the spouse is already settled in the UK is a waste of time and money. Its rarely granted. You would be better off applying for a spouse visa from the onset. She now has a refusal against her name which you will have to declare when you eventua...

Re: Adequate maintenance - Need help Please!

Hi There, I am not sure if " Adequate maintenance" Is really the name of what I am trying to say. My Doubt is, If I am a British person I have to prove I earn at least £18600 a year + other things obviously, to get a Spouse Visa for my Partner. My Salary a year is around £17400 + Commissions, I've ...

Re: SPONSORSHIP LETTER FOR SPOUSE VISA

A sponsorship supporting letter is helpful as it gives you an opportunity to give brief background of you and your spouse ( ie how and where you met, how you intend to support your spouse if and when they arrive in UK, that you are in fact supportive of their application etc). The SU07 is not requir...

Re: Wife (family) settlement visa refusal

If you are sure your earnings were over 18600 at time of application and can get the missing wage slips, then appeal and ask for it to be reviewed with out the need for an appeal hearing. However if you did not earn the required amount at the time, then its best to reapply.Dont bother appealing and ...

Re: Settlement dependent visa Refused

Its the earning you earned in the 6 months prior to the application that counts, not from previous year.Your gross earnings would need to be around £1550 per month or £388 per week for those 6 months. You time your gross for those 6 months by 2 to give you ab annual salary . The above figures have t...

Re: Refused for stupid reason please help - family visit vis

I think the problem here is that if your uncle is genuinely working and has all the savings he claims, why is that you are then paying for all his cost travelling and living in the UK for 6 months. Surely if he can contribute something towards his costs. This probably is the reason why the ECO does ...

Re: Does my wife in Pakistan….

IF you are on DLA you will be exempted from the 18600 requirement. But you will need to show that there is sufficient resource to ensure your wife is not a burden on the UK's resources. You will also need to demonstrate a genuine relationship. I know I am exempt, but does this mean my wife is also ...

Best to have a TA more than 6 months as it takes over 6 months to deal with applications in certain countries, therefore buy the time the eCO looks at your file , your TA will have expired and he may well refuse it that he his not satisfied that accommodation would be available when applicant arrive...

Casa Thank you for your reply, Not from the different company, i think it is a cash deposit from the Bank counter, sometimes, but the net salary is accurate, It will look dodgy to an ECO if this was the case, When you get paid by your employers its usually in one payment via a bank transfer into yo...
