Well, as H.O. announced new point system for HSMP initial and extension, it will be very difficult for a person currently on HSMP aged over 34 to satisfy minimum 75 points for further extension. When HSMP initial approval was granted, there was no clue for such rules for HSMP extension. People sette...

Max continuous period of absence for ILR 6 weeks or 3 months

Is maximum continuous time period of absence for a person on WP/HSMP 3 months or 6 weeks, so that it should not be a problem, while applying for ILR after 5 years(unfortunately not 4 years now) ? I can't find any information on homeoffice website for guidance on ILR. The only thing I found is in the...

Sams, there might have been some hope you getting ILR if the application had been posted prior to 3rd April, and action taken to slow up its consideration ... by deliberately paying by cheque rather than using a card. No guarantee that would have worked but it might have been worth a try. However I...

I still doubt how can it be possible as the applications did not even meet the min 3yrs 11 months requirements... But did they meet that requirement when the application was actually considered by the person looking at the application? I suspect the answer to that might have been yes, on the "4 yea...
