Re: Citizenship Applications From 2020 Pending Approval

Got this today after they told me it's an advanced stage. Now it's a different story entirely. What a copy and paste   Your application for naturalisation is currently being processed with a view to establishing whether you meet the statutory conditions for the granting of naturalisatio...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

That is YOUR personal opinion, and not the subject of this forum. Also suspiciously sounds like something someone working for the INIS would say, as opposed to someone who is genuinely waiting an excessive period of time for a decision. If you having nothing pragmatic to add to the topic of this fo...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

I actually payed 900€ for the lower couse I got the lower since I applied in February 2018 , 6-7 months ago I had to pay the court fees it was like 350€ only Total waste of time and money. Doesn't worth it. I'd rather be patient until I receive decision. I can still enjoy life travel around with my...

Re: Citizenship Bank Statement

I got you now. What bank is it? As far as I understand, all major banks should be able to issue a bank statement with no transactions. Depending on the bank and the type of account, she should be able to request for a bank statement from the previous statement issue date to the current date, either...

How is that possible? Doesn't she have any income, need to pay utility bills, accommodations, do grocery shoppings? Are you saying that for at least 3 months in a row, she didn't spend or receive any money at all, especially during the whole period of Christmas? Honestly I don't think the INIS is g...

Re: Next Ceremony

You're not considering the delays caused by High Court decision last year and COVID-19 this year and how severely the process was affected. I consider myself a majority and the application was completed within 12 months indicated by the Department. I am sure I'm not the only one who was approved fr...

I'm not your mate and I don't care what you hope for  Stop creating separate threads for every utility bill. The questions are the same if a particular utility bill or a statement will be considered as a proof for 2020 or 2021. You are creating duplicate threads. Ok you got the hug now :mr...

Re: Can someone explain this proof of residency citizenship

Can someone explain this to me about proof of residency for citizenship application. If a bill Invoice Date is :01/01/21 But on the invoice the Calls Period states: 01/12/20 to 31/12/20 Can it be accepted is 2021 or 2020? You have already created literally the same thread only a few days ago: https...

Re: Can someone explain this proof of residency citizenship

In theory it's December 2020, but there's no clear distinction between the two. INIS may treat it as either 2020 or 2021. If they want more evidences from a particular provider, they will just ask you. (e.g. they may ask you to provide the same invoice for the November 2020 period and January 2021 ...

Re: Citizenship, Three different proofs of residence for each year of residence claimed,

Hi, I downloaded all my bank statements (including old ones) only recently for my Citizenship application online. So as long as it is an official bank statement, what is more important than issue date is the transaction listed for a period. So 2020 should be fine in my opinion. I can only presume w...

Citizenship, Three different proofs of residence for each year of residence claimed,

Asking for a cousin, can someone please confirm if this will be accepted as proof of residence by the Citizenship: A bank statement showing 2020 transactions but the requested date is today 2021? Wil it shows 2021 or still 2020? not sure if citizenship will accept?. Also, Invoice for waste bin bill ...

Re: Citizenship Applications - Content of Second Letter

I believed I haven't received the second letter at all, but from your scan I see that it's actually exactly what I received together with my passport when it was returned after the submission of my application. You've probably received a wrong letter. My first one is just an acknowledgement of the ...

Re: Apply for citizenship immediately or wait few weeks?

Have in mind that one of the main reasons for refusal is not enough reckonable residence. It's better to wait a few more extra months than risking to wait few more years in a limbo and THEN get refusal. I know someone that did and got exactly that. I personally applied 7-8 months after I became eli...

Re: Form 8 Naturalisation form was updated in November

I think the problem is with the page numbers. The 3 irish references pages are now in different pages (29-30 instead of 30-31) so I don't think you can re-use them (It's dumb I know but I wouldn't take my chances). I'm gonna print up everything again in the new version and pray they don't change th...

Re: Form 8 Naturalisation form was updated in November

Just a warning since I was surprised by this today. The Form 8 - Application by a person of full age, including ‘young adult’ was updated to a new version in November. So if you were like me and had everything filled in the previous version (January 20) I think you gonna have to fill everything aga...

Re: Passports will no longer be stamped for IRP renewals

Hi Litterr, One thing to clarify please? Do we also need to send IRP because as per the latest information, you do not need to send your IRP away for renewal. You just need to fill the application online and then they will send you the updated IRP if the application is approved and processed. Many ...
