Hello all,

just an update, one of my friend today received his ilr based on 10 years, he sent his documents on 25th of January 2012 and ilr was issued on 20th march and today he got all his documents back.

I have applied ILR based on 10 years residency, i was on student status before which was supposed to expire at the end of january, currently i am waiting to hear from home office. my question is am I allow to work full time at the current status.

Working in excess of the permitted 20 hours pw is a reason for refusal. The point i was trying to make is upto 2005 or 2006 there wasnt such restrictions from employer on 20 work pw and majority of students worked more hours.
