Re: Notice of Marriage given more than 3 months but no approval or any communications received from Home office

The interview went all fine. What interview are you referring to? Do you mean the notice appointment? If so, there is no "went well" or "went wrong" as that is really just for the couple to declare their intention to marry and provide their personal details, it's not a test. All couples have to do ...

Re: Reversal of Curtailment of Spouse Visa

However the charity had already made an application in the first 48 hours without her consent for ILR through the Domestic Violence route online during her time in their care. Where did the charity get the information they used to apply for the ILR? I am sure they would have needed a lot of informa...

D-LTRP1.2 to FLR(M)

Good Day All, I probably have the answer to the question but thought It will still be nice to ask here and get more inputs. A quick background, a friend who was previously on a PBS dependent visa became an overstayer after visa refusals and subsequently exhausting all appeals. Later got married to a...

Re: UK Visitor visa during COVID-19

Has there been no international flights to and from India since April? If there has been flights from India to the UK, then your parent should have used whatever validity that is left on the visa. It is no surprise that the HO will not be refunding or extending the visa if they did not use it. I gue...

Re: Driving Without Insurance and BC

Can any one help me?? Thanks You have been advised already. Nobody can confidently tell you what your chances are. It might be at the discretion of the caseworker. All you can do is declare all the three (2 driving without insurance and 1 speed ticket) and hope for the best. You can also wait to se...

Re: Overstay

Hi there, I want to apply for British Citizenship, and I am bit confused regarding the good character, in particular immigration offences. Back in 2013 my application for tier 4 was refused and appealed against it up to upper tribunal. My leave was extended by 3C up to the hearing on 14th of August...

Re: Help - Requirement not met, not present on actual date

Hi Mods and Gurus, I have applied my application on 27th March 2020. Today, I got an email from a caseworker stating that a person is required to be in UK on the actual date 5 years before making the application. So the qualifying period for me is 28 March 2015 to 27 March 2020 and I am expected to...

This is what I got from my southwark Council Thank you for your email. UKVCAS service centres will not start opening for appointment from 1st June. I guess not appointments will be available in the first couple of weeks of reopening as they will still be maintaining social distance as they reopen.

Re: Moving Abroad Around Time of Citizenship Eligibility

And I want to add that you will have to pay tax to the HMRC on that your "hefty pay". This is because you will need to remain a UK resident while working abroad, if you intend to apply for citizenship 6 months later. So if you decide to take the job, you might need to notify HMRC. Avoiding to pay yo...
