Re: Flr m- Health Surcharge-Age Under 18

Applying 10 months early has no relevance. Your dependents have to switch to FLR(M) because you applied for ILR based on long residence.

You will have to pay the health surcharge for each dependent applying and it is £500 each for the 2.5 year FLR(M).

Re: This is complicated

Because Multiple Posting (click) creates confusion and clutter the forum. It is easier for your full details to be available in one thread so that members can see them before responding.

Re: Flr m- Health Surcharge-Age Under 18

FLR(M) extension is a 2. 5 year visa so you will have to pay £500, you cannot pay less.

You are choosing to apply early so it makes no difference. Why are you applying so many months early? What is the childs current visa status?

You should be fine as there is usually a transitional period where the older form is still accepted.

Re: DRL to ILR on 6 Year Route

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but HO is clamping down on years of people abusing the system. You need to remember that if you leave the UK for 2 or more years after you get ILR, you lose your ILR status and if you want to come back, you have to start again from scratch or hope that you can...

Re: Applied for ILR and moving to another company b4 approva

You should have applied in person them for a same day decision. Bear in mind that you would have had to submit a letter from your employer that you were still required in post for the foreseeable future with your ILR, so clearly not the case. Also, remember that while your ILR application is under c...

Re: Flr fp or flr m please advise

Unlikely an FLR(M) application will be successful. The thing you need to address as the forms all ask for this detail is, has you paid your wife's maternity bill with the NHS as she was not entitle to free NHS. You were asked about this in your other thread (and where I will move this one to). http:...

Re: Travel while waiting for MN1-urgent

Well, per your first post, she doesn't have a certificate. A certificate is also not a travel document. From India, they are obligated to check that all travelers have the appropriate visa (if required) to travel to their destination and you don't have this for her.

Re: DRL to ILR on 6 Year Route

You will likely face a refusal for any citizenship application you make once you have ILR and will only be eligible for naturalisation/citizenship 10 years after the date your stay became legal, as you fail on the good character requirement on two counts. You will probably only qualify for citizensh...

Re: Travel while waiting for MN1-urgent

She cannot re-enter the UK if she does not have a visa or her British passport.

As of now, she is without status in the UK and having a pending BC application does not mean anything, only the approval and certificate/Passport does.

It has recently changed and the date of application is the date you attend NCS.

Re: Pathway to British Citizenship

This is what you should do : 1. Both of you apply for ILR when you qualify (28 days before reaching 5 years in the UK) 2. Hubby submits UKM with all the supporting documents. 3. Hubby gets approval and attends ceremony and receives his certificate 4. You immediately (same day even after the ceremony...

Re: Pathway to British Citizenship

1. We both apply for ILR now, which breaks then link between my visa and his, then he applies for citizenship under UKM, then I apply for citizenship once his approval comes through as the spouse of a BC using form AN. This is the more expensive option but may be faster, who knows. This is the only...
