You might have spoken to call centre staff who probably didn't know much anyway. I applied for my son's certificate and I was told by the person dealing with my application that it will be sent the next day to home office. It might be different for your council. It also depends on what time is your ...

You don't need card to process payment in Cardiff PEo. They will take information of your card from the application form. So don't worry if you don't have card with you. They didn't look my card at all. Not sure about Croydon PEO. You are providing wrong information if the bank has blocked the card...

Following is the information from UKBA website. You can go to Croydon where you have an option to pay by postal order. I guess you can not pay by draft because most banks take the order on phone and post the draft at home. Please note you will have to cancel your Cardiff appointment today as you can...

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

I was asking so that I can inform my credit card company about the name that will request the money. However I do know that some of them decline to put any note like e.g. HSBC. But it is good to know

Thanks again

Re: Have problem reschedule appointment online

Hi, Wondering whether any of you had problem to re-schedule your booked appointment online? I booked an appointment for 3OCT for my ILR based on tier1. My tier1 expire 30OCT, I thought it might be too early. (Is it? not sure how they calculate the 28 days) Then I try to re-schedule it tonight, it k...

Imran22, answers to your questions are in bold. I don’t have the answer to your question but I am in the same dilemma these days and can’t decide what to do. On one hand I would like to save £700 but I don’t want any problems. Also I was worried if we need to leave the country due to some urgent tr...

How many cohabitation documents and how far apart?

Hello members, Is there any recommendation on how many documents should be required to prove cohabitation? I remember seeing a reference in the past about having documents from six different sources but the new form only says the following “please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since y...

Discussion on child ILR

Hello members, I know that you can skip child born in UK from the ILR application and apply the citizenship directly using MN1. I have also seen many posts where members have done this. The reason for my post is to ask two questions • The worst case scenario if I do not apply for my child’s ILR what...

I don't believe there are any official guidelines for this. The only thing I'd say is you'd need to make sure that a CW can distinctly match/verify the two sources of income for each of the months you submit as evidence. A cover letter should help with this & don't see an issue in using either of t...

Tier-1(General)->ILR date difference payslip and bank sta

Hello board members, My payslip always has the date with last day of the month e.g. 30th June but the salary gets deposited in the bank account around 15th or if 15th is a weekend then Friday before that. My question is which date to use in the form to include 12 months earnings. For example 15th Ju...
