Hiya Thank so much for your reply. So if we have no travel plans, it will be fine to submit his passport even though it will expire during the time that his citizenship is being processed? They wont refuse his application because his passport will be out of date during the consideration of the applic...

Thanks Casa Hes got the life in the UK test pass and also has a doctors letter and NHS medical card. We will have been married for over 7 years at the time of the application for ILR, so do you think I should enclose my marriage certificate for further evidence, or will they have it on their system?...

Citizenship and validity of passport.

When my husband becomes eligible for Citizenship on 18th February 2010, his Iranian passport will expire two months later on 10th April, 2010. Will he have to renew his Iranian passport or will there be no problem with applying for citizenship.

Many thanks.

Thanks so much for your time.

Thanks for your reply. Home Office give such conflicting advice, one advisor told me that it didnt matter that we had not lived outside of the UK for 4 years what mattered was that we were married for over 4 years and that at the time of the application we had been living outside of the UK. Could yo...

ILR granted early?

I am a British Citizen from birth. My husband came to the UK in Nov 2000 and claimed asylum. His case was refused. We married in the UK in Jan 2003 (my husbands appeal for asylum was refused shortly after). We never made a claim for settlement as my husband always wished to return to Iran so we live...
