You have to leave the UK and wait 12 months before you can apply/return, hence being called 12 month cooling off period.

only after 12 months is complete i.e in end of june 2016? You have to hold ILR for a full 12 months before applying for citizenship, unless you are married to a British Citizen. What nationality is your husband? is there any loop hole, that I could leave earlier instead of staying for 9 months Nope...

You should hopefully. If you log into the IHS site, there is a refund option. It might take a while though.

Croydon also tell you to 'come back later' but you have a choice to sit and wait inside if you wish. Both times I used Croydon, we waited a bit, then went outside for lunch and came back in and waited. Never asked for additional documents, it is not an interview process.

She needs Life in the UK Test AND she has to meet the English Level B1 Requirement with submitting proof. It is not an either/or choice.

For child (better to post this query in the British Citizenship forum), see FAQs - Citizenship (Children) (Click). If you apply using NCS at the council, you will get to keep all your original documents.

For your spouse, you also need to send your documents. See FLR(M) form, page 62 onwards.

Leave blank 1.2 and 1.3 blank, he does not have ILR (based on your post).

Complete section 6.

Apply using NCS, you then get to keep all the original documents.
