Can we use savings account as maintenence fund evidence?

Hi,

Someone told me that we can only use current account statements as maintenence fund evidence. Because home office thinks that money in the savings account is not something "accessible".

Is this true?

Regards.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. What I am worrying is that: In the table, I put my complete employment dates 01/07/2007 - 31/01/2009 (19 months), but I inputted my earning of the recent 12 months time. I am worrying that they could think the earning is for 19 months time rather than 12 months time. There...

Is this a mistake in my application form?

Hi I have submitted my application two weeks ago. However, I found there is possibly an error in it. The previous earning table in question L7 asks me to list all the employers where I claim points from. My case is simple because I have only one employer. In section L6, I declares I am claiming poin...

It seems like HO's cut-off date moves 5 days forward every week. The week before was 19th Jan. Last week was 17th Feb (But I think it should be 24th Jan). This week is 29th Jan. If it is like that, people will be waiting for even longer time. This is because people can send application from Monday-S...

I really don't understand this. Does this mean it was a typo last week? If that one wasn't maybe this is a typo? I think it is very likely that last week's was a typo. It seems like they process 5 days per week. last was: 19th January this week should be: 24th January (but they wrote 17th February)...

How to check processing status

Hi,

It seems like someone on this forum knows how to check the status of processing.

I have made my application within UK (WP -> Tier 1) last month and would like to know the status. Is there any way to check it?

Regards.

It is better to avoid the circumstance in which someone waits for 1 month and later notified some document is missing.
