Register as british?

Hey all, I was wondering if I could find anyone in the same situation as mine. And of course, expert input is always highly appreciated. Now, I was born here in 1984 and my parents, stayed here for 6years and went back around 1987. And back then, people with pakistani passports didn't have any troub...

Re: PEO booking for ILR where ?

Not an expert at all, but from what i've seen is, for self-employed cases they do some further checks and send u back without visa on the same day.
Dont know if anyone has had an experience like that here would like to elaborate.

Travelling outside UK before ilr

Hey all, I know its a silly question, but been bugging me slightly. The thing is, i'm planning to go and see my parents, in a couple of months, so was just wondering, whether its safe to travel if i've around 2-3months T1 visa left. Applying for ilr in march next year, so, what r others experiences ...

Re: ILR eligibility - Tier 1G route

My confusion here is, an year counts as Jan to Dec.
So my question is, as my visa started on 6th of April 2011, will I complete 5 years on 6th of March 2016 in HO eyes?
If yes, then does that mean i can apply 28 days before 6th of March 2016?

ILR eligibility - Tier 1G route

Hey again.. slightly confused again about my 5year continuous stay for ILR. My T1 general started on 06/04/2011 and was till 01/04/2013. But i applied extension slightly earlier as my earning band wasn't falling right towards the end of expiry, so when i received my visa, it was from 12/03/2013 and ...

Confusion about UK born child.

Hey all, I'm a bit confused about my new born's status and what it'll be when I get ILR next year. My situation is, I got T1G in 2011 and am eligible for ILR in 2016, my wife came as a dependant end of 2013 and we had a new born in 2014. And I haven't been outside UK much. Now as far as I understand...

Re: Dependent visa for ILR Status

As far as i know, u just need to make Tier1 dependant extension, assuming ur wife was tier1 dependant and hasn't completed her 5yrs of stay if she arrived after july2012. But before doing that, u'll need to pay nhs health surcharge for her (£200 per year) https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigration-ap...

And on their website they very easily say "For generations, the British public have paid their taxes to help make the NHS what it is today – the surcharge will mean temporary migrants will also pay their way" https://www.gov.uk/government/news/migrant-health-surcharge-to-raise-200-million-a-year We ...

Visa fees and health surcharges

I'm opening up a discussion here as m extremely frustrated with whats been going on since 2010 with tier1 holders.. The government wanted to limit immigration, fine they closed tier1 general completely.. fair enough. Then they raised salary bands so that only "skilled" immigrants are left in the uk....
