Dear all, I intend on sponsoring my wife as my dependant. I have all the necessary documentation ready (bank statement, payslips, employment contract etc). Although I realise that a tenancy agreement isn't required by Tier-1 (General) visa holders to sponsor dependants, I would still like to show it...

they ought to consider the fax but it won't hurt to send it in the post.. perhaps for the attention of your case worker.. his/her name will be on the confirmation letter you get from the home office.. i'm not too sure about this.. maybe a more experienced member could confirm this?

from what i've heard, case workers don't take more than 8-10 working days.. the process takes longer to get started.. so i'm sure you're on the same boat as me and will get your visa in a week or two inshAllah..

same here.. i just called them and she said it's under consideration and nothing has been sent out to me yet.. she said it means the application is in it's final stages and that i should expect an answer soon..
