i checked on royal mail's website and it says it's been delivered.. the correspondence address i had on the application form was that of my solicitor.. the lawyer dealing with my case is on annual leave.. the receptionist said their policy is to call the same day they find out about the outcome.. i ...

I've been told that a package was despatched on 11/05/2009 and I've been given a tracking number. I'll let you all know the outcome tomorrow as no one was at home to receive the delivery. *nervous*

Manisharnie - Apologies for misunderstanding the question. I'm sure they'll consider the letter even if it's a fax. If they want, they will confirm the variance when they call your employer to verify the salary although I doubt they'll do that.. Tear 1 - I can't comprehend why your friend asked you ...

they ought to consider the fax but it won't hurt to send it in the post.. perhaps for the attention of your case worker.. his/her name will be on the confirmation letter you get from the home office.. i'm not too sure about this.. maybe a more experienced member could confirm this?

from what i've heard, case workers don't take more than 8-10 working days.. the process takes longer to get started.. so i'm sure you're on the same boat as me and will get your visa in a week or two inshAllah..

same here.. i just called them and she said it's under consideration and nothing has been sent out to me yet.. she said it means the application is in it's final stages and that i should expect an answer soon..
