Re: Urgent Help on Tier 4 Exam resit within UK

Is there any new rule that students have to apply for a entry clearance for resits? No. Who is saying you need to apply in your home country, and what reason are they giving? Cant I apply for leave to remain within UK for exam resit. university is ready to give me new CAS in couple of days. From th...

Re: Re-entry after course ends but before Visa expires

We will have to agree to disagree It is accepted that there is a 4 month window to do whatever they want. It becomes an issue only when there maybe an intent not to return at the visa expiry. This individual is fully entitled to re-enter and apply for further leave to remain. For sure we will have ...

Re: Re-entry after course ends but before Visa expires

The immigration rules do not specifically say no to re-entering after course completion. If the course is finished, someone attempting to enter the UK would not all meet the requirements of the Immigration Rules for students. See also paragraphs 321 and 321A. In fact the tier 4 visa specifically gr...

Re: Travelling after final exams

But can I not re-enter on a TIer-4 saying that, I need to attend graduation ceremony (my graduation ceremony and job start date are in the same week). Immigration rules say no. I wouldn't risk it. Universities are cavalier with their advice about this because they are not thinking about people who ...

Re: Travelling after final exams

My course ends in Sept., I have received a job offer for a job to start in Dec, and I want to travel in the period between that. Unless you are travelling to your home country, and your Tier 2 sponsor is happy for you to make the Tier 2 application there (they would need to amend your CoS and do th...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 Dependant before course

Am I eligible to switch my visa from tier 4 to tier 2 dependant? Yes. In some websites, it's mentioned that I can apply if I had completed 12 months of my study but in some websites it's mentioned that this rule is applicable only for PhD degree. I am extremely confused. You appear to be looking at...

Because I need a reason to apply in Singapore (outside of my home country). I want to apply here is because my family is here. So I guess the marriage Cert may be needed? It's about where you live, not where your parents live. I advise speaking directly to the application post in Singapore before s...

Re: Tier 4 student 60 Days letter

I wrote a letter to home office requesting an extension of another 60 days as universities issue CAS only 28 days prior intake. I haven't heard anything from them till date. They issue the CAS up to 3 months before the start of the course, not 28 days. But either way, that is not any grounds to sta...

Not under the basic Tier 4 eligibility or the General Grounds for Refusing, but possibly under Credibility.

This isn't working. You have more questions now than when you started this topic 7 pages ago, and unfortunately you are not understanding the basic immigration terms or concepts in peoples' replies. I strongly advise you to seek one-to-one in-person professional immigration advice.

I need around 1 month to get a job offer. Can I apply for flr? (eg-FLR(O) ) What ground can I show in the flr? You have no gr...

Re: Study time limitation

Thank you for your idea but I was wondering I would fall under the 6 years cap at degree level. No, it is the 5-year cap for study at degree-level. The 6-year cap is for those progressing from a 4-year undergrad to a 2-year Masters. You can therefore study maximum another 2 academic years at degree...

It is not, and it won't! You have had clear and accurate advice from your university: your wife does not have the condition, therefore she is not required to register.
