What reasons did you provided for 136 unpaid absence.
Do just general Family-Visit reason would suffice?

Thanks

Re: Do not have continuous Employment for 5 years

Hello all, Had forgotten about this post which I started last year. I did get my ILR and at the time of my application, I was working part-time at various universities which normally had no work during Christmas break. I was without work when I initially came to the UK on Tier 1 and found work afte...

Re: Do not have continuous Employment for 5 years

So all you need is absence letter (self) or employer. If unemployed and in Tier 1 (G), better to explain in letter your situation and that you cannot furnish a letter as you are not working. Also it seems if absences are less than 180 in all 5 yrs no CW has asked for letters. So the old case also h...

Re: Do not have continuous Employment for 5 years

Hi, Referring to what we discussed a while back, I got my ILR today despite having 5 months unemployment. Guess you had something similar and there is nothing to worry about. I stayed in the UK even when was unemployed and my total visits outside the UK were of only 44 days. Let me know if you have...

Re: 4 months Break in Tier 1 Extensions - ILR Continuous per

If you made an in-time application, then there was no gap regardless of how ever long they take to make a decision. Leave was extended by Section 3C. Hello Vinny, Thanks for the reply with specific references. After reading what you have said and other references, I understand my ILR continuous per...

Re: Third Tier 1 General Extension and Application deadline

yes, you can extend for a third time or however many times you want (before april 2015) you understand the 28-day "earliest application" rule incorrectly. this rule has nothing to do with Tier 1 extensions. you can apply for another tier 1 extension at any time, no matter how much leave you have le...

Re: Third Tier 1 General Extension and Application deadline

Yes, you can apply a 3rd time, and you could do it any time, and you should get 3 yrs. however, I would deem this un-necessary, if you will complete the 5 yrs in Nov 2015. But if extending and having an additional 3 yrs would give you peace of mind, then absolutely. This question appears to be aske...

Re: Third Tier 1 General Extension and Application deadline

Hello, I am just about to apply for my 3rd extension. However some friends have confirmed me (based on their experience) that homeoffice will only give extension if for some reason I do not fulfill the requirements of ILR. In my case since I can easily make up 5 yrs ILR period; homeoffice could reje...
