Re: Non-EEA Family Member Final Checklist for Solo DE Trip

Hi Plum70,

"unfortunately", I think your list is pretty complete.

"Unfortunately", because it´s a joke, but I guess that´s what you might be realistically asked for.

I wouldn´t know what to add to the list. Should be a pretty smooth journey.

Let us know how it went!

schengen visa is not for whole schengen area if its a single entery one. It's only for one country which issues it. You can go to other places with your luck but if caught by police or io,s your future applications might be bad. your visa will be stamped on first port of entery. hopefully you wont ...

Re: France/belgium trip

Not sure if this is the right forum but hey ho. Wife coming over to visit me from Argentina (we will apply for spouse visa in January) and we would like to go to Paris and maybe Belgium for a few days whilst she is over here. In terms of travel for her is that OK? Or will the French/Belgium authori...

Re: Travelling between schengen countries with single-entry

Dear rk_2011, don´t listen to any of above crap, it is just crap. You can and may legally do your trip as planned, and you will not encounter any problems. I have no idea why ppl try to confuse you, and the most sensible answer of the last ones was Directives "alien"-theory. Have a beer, enjoy your ...

Re: Travelling between schengen countries with single-entry

1. yes 2. it´s differentiated, just as international airports differentiate between "domestic" and "international" arrival. Intra-Schengen is always treated as "domestic", you will simply not see any immigration officers, not in Bern, not in Nice. (Well, not in Nice when arriving from Bern (="domest...

Re: Schengen Visa issued by france

Hi koolmd,

you can visit the entire Schengen area without complications, also because there are simply no checkpoints between the countries.

So you can do the trip as you planned, and you will not encounter any problems.

Enjoy!

Re: Length of stay requirement for Schengen port of entry

I recently received a Schengen visa for entry into the Netherlands. Is there a requirement for how long I must stay in the Netherlands before I fly to another EU country or can I depart on a flight same day? Thank you! Schengen implies that there are no checkpoints between internal borders. As such...

Hi Punjab,

you can be sure that the UK does not plan anything like that in the near future, as they are >>just after cancelling a corresponding scheme<<.

Re: account

A business that is legally obliged to check identity of customers, has of course also the obligation to make sure that they can actually do that. And if they choose not to train their staff properly, they can expect problems in this area from time to time, and will not have a valid excuse. And I ma...

ca.funke's example clearly is about the situation that an ID is not accepted for the single reason that it states the "wrong" nationality. Of course, that is discrimination on the basis of nationality! What else can it be? In my example, the poor lady had no idea what she wanted herself. She wanted...

I wanted to open account with PTSB in Ireland at some stage. Never came across this question, so I don´t know if a user can delete his own account.

You can just leave your account, and just never visit the site anymore.

If you want I can also delete your account for you.
