Secondment within the Same Company

Hi all,

I have a general question regarding moving jobs as a tier 2 shortage occupation visa holder.

1. I've been working as a staff nurse in one of the hospitals in the south-east and was wondering if moving to a secondment job (same role, same employer therefore same hospital) as a band 6 charge nurse would cause my tier 2 visa some problems?

2. Is a secondment different from having a fixed term contract and is that a worse option?

I would also just like to add that the secondment role asks me to work full time (37.5 hours). Just to make it clear, no change in the hours of work.
