Seems like a stupid question but, do I need a visa!!!!

Just had some thoughts, and saw on UK visa website, the form VAF4B - Returning Resident.

Question: I have been living in Dubai since July 09, and intend to stay here, with my hubby, for the next few years before we decide to return to the UK. Do I, as a British woman, have to complete this form to return to my own country???
