Self assesment tool - previous earnings

Post by mghe » Tue May 26, 2009 2:06 pm

Hello All,

Just noticed that the self assesment tool in UKBA webiste is not allowing me to enter the decimal part on the previous earning section. The field i am talking about is the part that says Total Earnings. whenever I try to enter say 10000.44 and save it says enter positive number. Only if I reenter 10000 it accepts. Has anyone noticed this. Is it ok to ignore the decimal part of the earnings atleast for the self assesment tool part.

becos of this problem I am wondering if i really need to submit this printout from the wesite

Please help with this issue.

-thanks

Its not mandetory to submit the print out of points calculator. Though i would still recommend you to do so.. best is remove the decimal fraction and post the result. To be extra safe mention the same on the cover letter.

You can select the band in which you gross salary fall. e.g. for 1000.44 it would be 1000 - 15000.
You don't need to submit the print of this calculator. But since the rules are changing quite often, it is good to submit the points you obtained at the time of your application.
