Self employment and excercising treaty rights

Post by Doublestarxx » Wed Oct 22, 2014 11:37 am

Dear forum members

Are you still classed as excercising treaty rights if while during self employed, you had a 10month gap to be on maternity leave (also received maternity allowance that period which is documented).

Also after the maternity leave, I swapped self employment to job seeker(3months on job seeker) and within the 3 months I got an employment that allowed me to be excercising my treaty rights while being able to look after my daughter.

Asking the question because am due PR (eu citizen) but worried about the period I wasn't actively self employed because of taking maternity leave to look after my new born.
