Self-employment Docs...

I am in process of applying for my early extension HSMP to Tier 1.

I am Salaried (26k) + Self-employed (8k).

I am self-employed since 06/2007 and paid £800 tax for 2007/08 myself.

I am not sure of the format of documents to get from my accountant.

I had a chat with an agent who said that now a days 9/10 applications are from self employed and hence accounts have to be done by professionals who will draft out 15-16 pages as required by the HO. Hence he will charge me £700 for accounts and his fees £700 + Application fees.

Can anybody suggest if this sounds reasonable?

If No, can you'll suggest the format of letters that I need to get from my accountant.
