Separation after 856 visa, partner loses visa?

Hi everyone

Me and my partner are in process of applying for a 856 visa, I am his de facto spouse. I would like to know if I might lose my visa if one day we separate later on. After 1 year of getting PR, we might be able to apply for the citizenship.
Also once we get the PR, for how long my partner needs to work for his sponsor? can he change companies after a while or not? Does he need to apply again?

If you have a PR visa (and are in Australia), and subsequently split up, you keep your PR visa.
