seperated marriage

Hi,

A friend of mine is in the process of filling out her application form. She is seperated from her husband (not divorced) and have no intentions of migrating to canada with her husband.

She wants to know how this will affect her application as all family members are required to take medical exams, etc.

Can any one advice her.
