Set (M) Queries.

Post by maddyb » Mon Nov 23, 2020 11:48 pm

Hello,

I am applying for ILR under SET(M) category for my wife. Can someone help me answer below queries please ?

1. My wife entered UK on 15th Jan 2016. I think I can apply 28 days before her 5 years completion. If I calculate 28 days before 15th Jan 2016 correctly, can I apply on 18th Dec 2020 ?

2. I came across below question in the form which I am not sure how to answer:
Q: Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?
This could include social networks or connections to any of these countries

Thank you very much for your kind support.

Answer as the question asks. It is self-explanatory. Social groups could be any type of groups you are physically engaged with. Cultural ties could be if you have family and friends there

Thank you very much for your kind support.

Thank you very much Cullinan, you'll are doing a wonderful job. It is so helpful.

With regards to my point 1 (applying 28 days before 5 years completion), could you please assist me with below question also please?

Q. How long have you lived in the UK?
Year(s): Month(s)

By the time I will submit the application it will be Year(s): 4 Month(s): 11.
Is this correct or should I mention 5 years, 0 Months (as the ILR eligibility criteria is 5 years)

Hello,

I am showing my employment details for Finance eligibility. I started a new job from 06th June 2020 (6 months ago). In optional documents a P60 is also mentioned. Not sure if my current employer can give me a P60 as I have not been until Apr'21.
Could you please advise if I need to give a P60 from previous employer or P45 ?

Many thanks in advance.

You don't need P60 or P45.
