SET LR QUERY FOR DEPENDANT KIDS

Post by ashontherun » Fri Aug 06, 2021 6:46 pm

Hello,

My dependants kids aged 13 and 17 are applying for ILR based on 10 year residence in the UK.

The checklist states to submit following documents:
- Documents supporting other reasons to stay in UK
- passport issued by India
- Current BRP
- Letter of consent from both parents
- all previous passports issued

I have supplied all of the above.

Now my queries are:
- Do I have to provide documents in relation to financial support for both the kids?
- Do I need to sign Consent form Part 3 which relates to financial sponsor

Please could you advise.
Thanks

Hi Zimba,

I have one further query please.

I have filled in SET LR form for both of my kids, aged 13 and 17 years as they have been living in the UK for 10 years.

I hope SET LR Form (10 year residence) is the correct form I have used to fill in their application?

Please advise.

Thanks

There is only one form for ILR based on long residence, form SET(LR).
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Alright CR001 - I got confused when I looked at SET F form and thought may be I used the wrong application.

Also I have an additional query please:

I have applied for ILR using SET LR form (10 year route) for my dependants, wife, kids 13 and 17 year old - attended Biometrics on Saturday for a Super Priority Appointment.

My wife and 13 year old application have been approved. However, I am still awaiting for a decision on my 17 year old kid application (considering its Super Priority Application).

- What options do I have now? How would I contact HO regarding his application?
- Does it happen that SP application takes more than 24 hours?
- I provided the same docs for both of my kids - don't know why my 17 year old kid's application taking time?

I am getting a bit anxious now.

Please advise.
