SET(O)-Tier1-Ent. enquiries

Post by jafersadeq » Thu Apr 25, 2019 11:45 am

Dear Gurus,

I have some enquiries about SET(O)-Tier1 Ent.:

In SET(O) online application form, I have some enquiries listed below:

In the list of the required documents, they ask me to provide:

1-Evidence of Mr..X’s immigration status in the UK
2-Current Biometric Residence Permit.

The question:
Two separate requirements, the second item is clear, what about the first item?
if they mean the BRP card in both, why did they mention it in two separate items?

3-Companies Hose documentation to demonstrate your registration.

4-For directors of a company, a printout from Companies House of the company’s filing history page and of a current appointment report to show that you are a director of each business for the period.

The question:
The second item is clear.
What is the first item? Do they mean current appointment report as well, if so, why did they mention it in a separate item?

5-Two passport photos for Mr. X.
Do we have to send photographs? , UKVCAS will take photographs in their office.

In Tier 1-Entrepreneur policy guidance- version March 2019- Page 31 states:
You have to list all details of absences including the reasons for those absences, and you will not need to provide any specified evidence to support this.

That paragraph states the tier1-entrepreneur has to list absence reasons.

About absences:

In page 10 of 19 9Indefinite leave to remain: Calculating continuous period in UK – Version 8 on 29th March 2019, states:

For the categories below, there is NO requirement to give a reason for absences if they do not exceed 180 days in a consecutive 12 months period.

That paragraph states the tier1-entrepreneur does not have to list absence reasons.

Which one do we have to follow? Does T1-Ent have to list reasons of absence or not?

Please clarify
Thanks

1 and 2 are same
3 and 4 are same (The online form generates the checklist as per the answers to individual questions. CAR satisfies two things in the form. So its just different wording but same thing. CAR satisfies both)

5 - No photos needed. You will submit your digital photo at UKVCAS appointment.

6) No evidence needed for any reason for Tier 1 Ent. However, the online form has a space for the reason. Just write “personal” or “meet friends” etc. But no evidence is needed to support the reason.

Why do you need 1? It can go in “other category”.

Categories are not important as long as you upload everything. You can upload 2 in proof of business and 3 in Residence in UK.

Why you need to send proof of address?

Categories are not important as long as you upload everything. I know but the ordering is better.

You can upload 2 in proof of business and 3 in Residence in UK. OK

Why you need to send proof of address? Shall I remove it? I said it shows my address.
How many files (6Mb) can I attach in each category? or only one file 6Mb.

Thanks

You can upload as many files you want. Each file should be less than 6MB.

Dear Friends,

I will provide CT41G and CT603, shall I send CT600?.
If yes I have HMRC online filing log (which contains UTR and many details), and 12 pages CT600 file,
which one I have to send?

Page 1 of 12 contains the UTR only.

Thanks

I will advise you to send (CT41G or CT603) AND CT600 if you can.

My CT600 was 14 pages. First page at the top it says: Company Tax Return CT600 (2018) Version 3 and the last page was the declaration. I signed the declaration. I sent all 14 pages.

There was a different opinion between moderators. One thinks CT600 is the only way to prove corporation tax registration and other thought can send any of the above. I just did not want to take the risk and sent both CT603 and CT600 in my case.

Dear Friends,

Reference to:

https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y/y ... eneur-visa

Go to:
How to apply

You must apply online. You’ll be told whether your application has been successful within 6 months.

You can get a decision within 1 working day if you pay extra to use the super priority service.

Is that right?

Thanks

There is only standard service available for Tier 1 Ent Main applicant.
Super priority can be used only in dependents case, given the main applicant already gets a successful decision.

Dear Friends,

Some members got their appointment 35 to 45 days after application date, and when I visited Sopra Steria website, I have read:

Appointment date and time
If you want to visit a service point, you can book an appointment:
up to 28 days in advance
the same day
the next day
outside of standard office hours, such as early morning, evenings and at weekends

I am not understanding what is the 45 days after the application date ! can I book an appointment at any time I want? or it is difficult to find an appointment within the first week after the application date.
Please clarify
Thanks

You get 45 working days to provide your biometrics after you pay and submit your application. You must provide before that. It seems that due to a huge demand of “free” appointments at core centres, there is a long delay. Plus enhanced centres you can hardly find one. However, if you are flexible to travel far to another centre or pay you can get an early appointment. For example, London Premium Lounge, you can get an appointment in 1-2 days at an extra cost.

Trinity London Hammersmith SELT Centre

Now: the HO updated the address of that centre to:

A change of centre address hasn’t no impact!
