Hi

I have a few questions regarding my visa after I read updated notes from guidelines.

Currently, I hold Tier 1 (Exceptional Promise)-Art visa-5years and 4 months. I left UK and came back to my country in April becase of Covid19. For now, I am not sure if I can go back to the UK any time soon so I might be out of the UK more than 180 days. (I still think what I should do.)

According to the guidelines,

9. However, this period is reduced to 3 years if:

- your endorsement was given by the Royal Society, Royal Academy of Engineering or British Academy

-your endorsement was given under the Endorsing Bodies’ exceptional talent criteria for Arts Council England or Tech Nation

It says that it can be reduced to 3 years, does it apply to Exceptional Promise visa(I have 5years and 4months)?

20. For settlement applications made from 11 January 2018, we consider absences from the UK on a rolling basis, rather than in separate consecutive 12-month periods. If your qualifying period includes leave granted before this date any absences during that leave will be considered under the previous rules – in separate 12-month periods, ending on the same date as you make your settlement application.

I wonder if the absences can not be more than 180 days each year or whole years(3 or 5 years).

Thank you for your help. :)
