Settlement (M) (EDIT: ILR Granted)

Post by azariahdavid » Sat Oct 17, 2009 10:41 am

Hell guys,

For some reason my wife's card got declined when UKBA tried to debit the card. There has always been money in the card to ensure that £820 could be debitted.

Now my question is, the letter from UKBA states that a new application must be made. Does this mean she is now over her immigration stay period as her visa expired on the 17th of September 2009? I am re-sending the application with a bankers draft this time, which should avoid any complications.

But I was wondering whether they will look negatively on this application as the payment was rejected. I will include the letter they have sent on the application back to them.

Any advice / thought would be much appreciated.

Send then a copy of the bank statement for the period that they tried to deduct the money as that will show you did indeed have enough money at the time .

I sent them a statement with all the information on.

Finally the passport came with my wife's ILR :) I am so happy.. It gave me so much anxiety to wait for so long.

I appreciate the variety and range of help offered on here. It seems your application will come through as long as you sufficient proof of what they require.

Thanks so much chaps.

The application was made on in September, and it was sent today with the stamped visa.
