Settlement Visa Appeal Refused

Post by malikakram-2011 » Tue Nov 23, 2010 10:30 pm

My daughter's settlement visa has been refused

In my letter the judge quoted "applicant cannot meet all the requirements of paragraph 297"

I provided a DNA report, bank statement, tenancy agreement, letter of my employment. These evidence are all post dated, I failed to provide evidence for the relevant period (jan 2010)

My whole family is living in the uk except my daughter currently livi g with my sister in law back in Pakistan. On my hearing day my solicitor argued to allow the appeal under article 8 (respect of family life) however the judge didn't take this in count.

Is there any hope of my case being allowed by the judge under article 8 if I send my case for reconsideration? and if i for fresh application my daughter is going to be over 18.

If someone can advice me on what to do next I will be very grateful.

What requirements did the judge say were not met?
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.

Is she 18 yet? If not, and she's about to turn 18, bung in another application quick as possible.
