Short 12 days for 4 years and 11 months to apply ILR

I will be applying for ILR this year, but in confusion that shall I apply directly for ILR application or will first extend visa and then apply for ILR.

Visa stamp date on passport : 07 Nov 2016
UK entry date : 13 Nov 2016
Visa expiry date: 29 Sept 2021
Five years completion date : 7 Nov 2021

As per rule, I could apply for ILR after 10 Oct 2021. Could anyone confirm that I could directly apply for ILR rather than extending visa, even though I will not hold valid visa when I would apply for ILR application.

You apply before visa expiry for ILR. You book your appointment on or after 10 Oct 2021. As long as on the date of the ILR decision you are eligible, ILR will be granted
