Short stay visa mother in law

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right section but I was wondering if someone can direct me to the right section/give some more information about applying for a visa for my mother in law.

I am an EU national and I would like to invite my mother in law to visit us. My wife is pregnant and we would like my mother in law to be here for 1-2 months.

Has anyone experience in applying for a short term visa for extended family member?
