Should I be worried in this situation ?

Post by IndiMarshall » Mon Aug 04, 2014 2:19 pm

Please take couple of mins to read and help me with my questions..
After reading through this post I have a similar question.

http://www.immigrationboards.com/britis ... 68681.html

Once one of my friend was attacked by a drunk person with a Hockey bat. I had defended my friend and in the meanwhile my friend has called the police. The police took the drunk person to police station and he stayed overnight there I believe.

My friend gave a note of what happened and police didn't take any from me that night. After few days they called me and they have taken witness notes from me on PHONE. At that time I asked them if I should mention about this in any of UKBA or VISA applicaitons.. for which the police said NO. After 5 months I was asked to attend the court and give the same witness to judge.. I said I can't do that bcoz I already told at the time of incident I dont live there and I wasnt directly involved in the spat for which they said fine. Finally the hearing has come as the drunk person has denied all charges... my friend and another witness have attended the court on that hearing day. Police gave one final call requesting me to attend for which I said 'I am fine to attend and give same witness I told earlier'. Police have called me after an hour and said You dont need to come as you have agreed to come to court the judge got convinced and the drunk person also pleaded guilty and he was given 'whatever' punishment he deserved.

The issue has finished here.

1)Now please tell me if I should have mentioned anything about this?

2) In an unrelated incident in my apartment I have given a complaint on a person who is involved in Anti social behaviour.
After my complaint to police, Police have cautioned him that if they hear one more complaint he will be kicked out of the council flat. That was not the first time he was cautioned. The issue has ended there with no court hearing or anything.

Can anyone tell me if I should have mentioned about these in my naturalization form ? will any of these affect my citizenship applicaiton like what happened to thread starter in the link ?

No issues. You don't declare others peoples character issues, just your own
