Sister-In-Law Visitor Visa

Post by windoz_255 » Wed Jan 21, 2009 10:43 am

Hi,

I don't know if you can advise or help.

My in-laws in Pakistan consist of;

no father-in-law
1 mother-in-law
2 brother-in-laws
2 sister-in-laws

1 brother-in-law is married
1 brother-in-law is engaged
1 sister-in-law is married
1 sister-in-law single

My question is regarding my sister-in-law who is single, unemployed, 23 years old and lives with her mother and brother who is to get married soon this year. I mainly support the family in Pakistan and often send money back there.

I understand that not everyone can apply as you have to show that your intention is to return back to your original country...i.e.have some form of responsibility, own wealth, own land..etc....

My question is can I apply for my sister-in-law who is single to come to the UK as a visitor ? (she doesn't own anything, she has no income apart from the money I send..her intention for return would be that her brother is to get married this year)

I understand that the answer will be a "YES"..but technically where would this stand ?

What is the success rate for a case such as this ?

Any advise is appreciated.
AA.
