uk skilled worker dependant visa for sweden student visa holder

uk skilled worker dependant visa for sweden student visa holder

My brother in law currently pursuing master degree and on the student visa in sweden.. His wife got uk job offer and planning to come to uk under 5 year skilled worked visa.. while company ready to sponsor for all dependants the question is when can my brother in law can apply for uk dependant visa? should we wait until his sweden master degree course completes in another year or he can apply now itself while he still pursue his master degree in sweden ?

he has one left to complete his degree so is he allowed to apply now itself with main uk applicant as this may give him some opportunity to visit family every now and then until he finishes degree.. or he can’t apply now while he has another country student visa?

He can apply now. However do note that if applying from a country he is not a national of I.e. if applying from Sweden, he may need to have more than 6months left on his Swedish Student visa to apply. So check this..
