Skilled worker extension

Post by Lawrins8 » Sun Dec 10, 2023 6:06 pm

Please I need help in this forum.......

I am on Skilled Worker Visa and my Contract with my employer is 2years contract. But when I applied for entry clearance from my home country I was given more than 2years though I paid IHS fee for 2years. My entry clearance start from April 4, 2021 but when I got my BRP on getting to the UK it shows from April 14, 2021 to March 14, 2024. I am approaching the time for extension now but I want to know if I should apply for two years again but don't know if it will take me up to five (5) years to reach qualifying period for ILR? Thank you

You have exactly 3years already.
Getting 2years extension will definitely get you to 5years to qualify for ILR.
