Skilled Worker visa cancelled and EU visit ?

Hi

My job has been made redundant and my Skilled Worker visa had been cancelled today. I understand that from receiving curtailment letter date, I have 60 days to remain in UK. Some questions

1. Can my wife continue to work on dependent visa for her employer till 60 days ?

2. We had applied for Schengen visa and have plans to travel to EU for 4 days in July end. Can we re-enter UK on our existing BRPs or we shall cancel EU trip and remain in UK till 60 days ?

Your wife's PBS dependant permission would normally also be cancelled in line with your 60 day curtailment and she should receive a separate curtailment letter from the HO posted to your address. She can continue working until the end of her curtailment period.

If you leave the Common Travel Area during the 60 day curtailment period your permission will normally be cancelled and you may be refused entry when trying to return to the UK.

Note that during the 60 day curtailment period you are free to look for another sponsor and if successful can apply for a new visa in-country.

Thanks a lot, so the only option remains during that 60 days period is to search for a new sponsor. With Ukrain war going on and HO busy in refugee visas, time taken for SWV (normal) is 6-8 weeks. That means I have to ask company to apply SWV priority visa ? In this case, do I need to apply for all dependent (wife and 2 kids) visas again and get new BRPs for all of us ?

What if my last date here is 10 Sep and new visa comes on 20 Sep..Will I have to leave UK then on 10 Sep and come back again on 20 Sep ?

What you need from a new sponsor is a CoS which they can assign to you immediately provided they have an available allocation. Once you have the CoS you apply for the SW permission and you can stay in the UK from the date the application is submitted assuming this is before the end of the curtailment period (section 3c leave). You may or may not want to use the priority service but that is a personal decision.

Your dependants will also need new visas.

Thanks, in this case does refund come for IHS fees automatically for me and my dependents [which was paid for earlier visa (3 yrs)]

Partial refunds should come automatically within 6 weeks but you must pay the full IHS for the new visas at the time the applications are submitted

No, your dependants' visas would have been automatically curtailed when yours was even if they haven't received the curtailment letter because, for instance, the HO doesn't have the correct address for them.
