SMS steps for CoS details.

Hi members,

I have read somewhere in the forum that is it possible to create a pdf document report using the Sponsorship Management System (SMS) that has all the details of an employee which were entered while allocating the CoS. Can someone give me the steps please, or refer me to the place where the steps are given. I have tried to find it on the forum and google it, with no success. My dumb HR person has already given up.

In general, I was worried about below things:
1. Whether she has mentioned the same salary, as I have mentioned in the application form (given that I recently had a salary increase and HR team is dumb).
2. In a letter given by HR to me which had the CoS number and looked like a covering letter - she mentioned that my employer is ready to maintain funds for me. However, she used some ambiguous terms like:

we will provide you and any dependents with maintenance support during the first month of your employment. This support would be provided through a salary advance equivalent to the amount of available funds required to be evidenced by migrants .... Any such advance would be made as a contractual arrangement and the full amount would be deducted from your salary during the first 1 month of employment

. I have been working for them for more than 13 months now.

I have applied online on 24th December, and my documents have reached UKBA on 30th December. I haven't received the Biometric invitation until today.

Also, she didn't give me any other document that looked like a 'certificate'. Just a letter mentioning CoS number and above statement. I hope this doesn't cause me any trouble..

ask HR for a printout of your CoS. They probably have it in their file but if not it can be downloaded from the SMS but only a Level 1 user can access the SMS.

They have certified maintenance for you.

Thanks for all your help.

The HR is new to the SMS. I have emailed her asking the copy of CoS and also told her that only a Level 1 user can do it. I hope she finds out the option where she can print the CoS. When you say printout of CoS, will it also contain how much salary has she mentioned therein? The job title and allowances are correct, I am just worried about the exact salary figure.. (From one of your previous replies, only these 3 things are important).

I am feeling more relaxed to know that the wordings in the letter given by HR wont have any adverse impact.

Page 89 has View CoS -> Print Cos I was wondering whether this will give me the needed pdf file.

Also, page 95 shows some details. Will I get information similar to this when you say CoS, or is it similar to the one on page 93?
