Hi does anyone know if after your appointment do you receive a confirmation letter or email saying it has been submitted received. I had my appointment 3 weeks ago and did not receive anything.

I tried calling the home office but they won’t tell me anything and can’t get through to ukvcas.

My employer is asking for a reference number to check my eligibility to still work in the U.K. whilst waiting for a decision however I have no reference of any kind due to lack of communication from ukvcas/home office

No you do not get a letter. You are posting under British citizenship application forum so assuming that you applied for a citizenship application why does your employer care ??! You must have PR/ILR already before applying for British citizenship which means you have the right to live and work indefinitely in the UK. The fact you applied for British citizenship does not change that as the British citizenship application is NOT an immigration application

Seema it is an extension of a partner visa and not citizenship.
