Spanish Visit VISA for EU/EEA Spouse and Family Members

Hi,

I'm a British citizen and my wife is a foreign national and holds ILR. We have booked a holiday to Spain in December. I wanted to apply for Schengan VISA for my spouse. Will it be possible to apply as a EU/EEA Spouse and Family Members? There is no fee for this service but I'm not sure if it will be valid for travel in December as UK is due to leave EU in October.

Any suggestions? I tried searching but couldnt find anything remotely relevant.

However, at the moment, with a UK passport you are an EEA citizen. Despite all what we hear, we are not out of the EU yet. So you can still go and apply through this route. As long as they give you a visa valid for December that's fine.
