Sponsering my spouse to visit Uk

Hi
I am a resident from India on a student visa that will be ending up in November 2015. I have hardly less than six month so I cannot apply dependent visa for my wife. I was thinking to apply for a visiting visa. I have already accumulated 2500 pounds in my bank for more than three months and my father (her father inlaw ) had shown around 5000 pounds in his account there to say we have got enough funds. The confusion is What else paper work do i need to show to make this visa a gun shot approval.
