Sponsership Tier2 general

Post by nitrup » Fri Jun 08, 2012 11:11 am

Hi,

I am having Tier2(ICT) partner visa and is due to expire in Jan 2013 and is employed in a very small company.
My company is willing to sponsor me and in process of doing Resident labor Market test.

They are giving job advertisement with same skills which i am currently working on .

Now after RLMT, if they will not find any suitable worker..will it be ok for them to sponser me for the same vacancy?

Can UKBA Raise a question on this?

Please let me know about this in detail or any similar case

Yes.

Not on this point.

As mentioned earlier, you'll need to apply for entry clearance from outside the UK. And your employer will need to assign a "restricted CoS" to enable you to apply for EC.

Sorry Sushdmehta, but again a dumb question i believe.

As there is point in RLMT for job advertising

Jobcentre Plus will only accept a vacancy advertisement if there is a current vacancy when the advertisement is placed. If you also use milkrounds or rolling recruitment programmes (see below), you must make sure that you place your vacancies when there are actual posts to fill. It is important to adhere to the Jobcentre Plus rules - if your vacancy advertisement is refused; you will not be able to complete a resident labour market test and will not be able to assign a certificate of sponsorship for that vacancy.

now according to the current situation, i am already working for them, can they still create a vacancy and go for advertisement?

what is rolling recruitment programmes? is it different from advertsing job on internet?

sorry again for dumb question
