Sponsor for family visit visa

Hi all,
I am new to this forum. My husband and I currently live in thailand and I will be returning to the uk. I want my husband to come for a family visit for six months. How many sponsors can my husband have? Can my mum and I both sponsor him? My mum is going to provide the accommodation and any expenses while we are there, plus he will also have his own savings too. Can I sponsor him too? As I am his wife and I will be travelling with him. Or is my sponsorship not needed. Any advice would be gratefully received.
