Sponsoring children under 15

Post by adviceseeker2011 » Thu May 12, 2011 9:43 pm

Hi,

I hope someone will be able to provide me with some advice on our issue. My sister has indefinite leave to enter status and her husband joined her on 2 years spouse visa. They have one child under 4 from current marriage and there are 4 other children under 15 years of age from her husbands previous marriage living in Pakistan with their grandmother. My question is that will her husband be allowed to sponsor them as he is the one working with good income. My sister is currently unemplyed.

thanks for any help.

Yes. However, he should show sole responsibility if the children's mother is alive.
