I am living in UK and got my Canadian PR in 2008, I am now moving to Canada. I got married in Dec 2008 and want to sponsor my spouse to Canada. He is living in UK but is an Indian citizen. Can you please advise me if I need to be in a job in Canada to sponsor him? I have been working for the last 12 months in UK, can I show my 12 months income in UK and my savings to sponsor him?

Your reply will be much appreciated. Hope to get some suggestions soon.
