Spouse Entry Clearance Visa - Withdrawn Appeal

Post by fy2011 » Mon Jan 06, 2014 4:41 pm

Hi Everyone

Here is my timeline

Applied for spouse visa on 11th December 2012
Refused 11th March 2013 - refused on the basis that I did not provide enough bank statements and payslips
Appealed on 18th March 2013
Hearing date 2nd January 2014
Two weeks before the hearing sent of all the bank statements and payslips to cover 1 and a half years of employment!

However on the day of the appeal I was told that the appeal has been withdrawn by the HO presenting officer. So there was no appeal. I was given a notice by the officer. It says 'The Secretary of State has withdrawn the decision for reconsideration'.

I was prepared to go in and fight for my case and even hired a barrister.

Does anyone know what the notice means? What will happen now? Can the case get refused again?

I would really appreciate if anyone knows any information to please share. Thank you. Good luck with everyone!
